Snippets

Because you want to be informed but don’t have the attention span to read a full article. 😜

  • Better late then never: Jason Day, Harris English, Keith Mitchell and Min Woo Lee all get their chance to chase golfing glory at the upcoming Masters after squeezing into the top 50 not already exempt.

  • One last chance: There are currently 89 players getting ready to tee it up in Georgia with one spot still available. This weeks Valero Texas Open holds the last golden ticket to the chocolate factory. A lot of quality names in the field so it should be good watching.

  • Full of confidence: 26 year old Sam Burns, last weeks winner of the last ever WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play pocketed $US3.5 million. If you think that is impressive he carded 49 birdies over the 119 holes played! He will head into the first Major of the year with full belief in his ability to beat anyone who challenges.

  • Love you - hate you: Matt Wallace takes out his first PGA title along side his bearded French caddie. The two clearly out that little altercation behind them. The win will not secure him a place at The Masters but will get him into the PGA Championship and the Sentry Tournament of Champions next year at Kapalua.

  • History books: Taichi Kho etches his name into the history books, becoming the first player from Hong Kong to win an Asian tour event. “Being at home, in front of everyone, having my parents here, it just means the world to me. I want to say thank you to everyone." - Taichi Kho.

  • Sports Bet: Early Masters betting has Rory McIlroy and last years champion Scottie Scheffler $8.50 favourites followed closely by Jon Rahm $9.00. Cameron Smith Leads the LIV golfers $21.00. Im very bullish on former world number 1 Jason Day, he has been playing very good golf in the lead up and is a known winner.

Spotlight - National Custom Works

Making the best golf clubs possible for 1 golfer at a time

About

National Custom Works takes pride in their craft of creating the best golf clubs. Their custom clubs are made with no shortcuts and are crafted specifically for each individual player's preferences, tendencies, and specifications. The team is comprised of two legendary craftsmen in the industry, Don White and Jeff McCoy, who have made clubs for some of the best players in the history of the game.

Don White, the former head of the MacGregor Tour/Custom Department, has been on call to some of the best players to ever swing a club. He has amassed an impressive record of 14 Major Championships and countless Tour wins since 1973. Jeff McCoy, one of the founders of Scratch Golf, has also worked with some of the best players in the world since he began grinding clubs in 2003. His wedges were even played in competition by the youngest player to ever make the cut at The Masters at 14 years old.

National Custom Works takes their mission of creating the best golf clubs seriously. Their irons and wedges are hand ground from Japanese forgings by master craftsmen and their putters are designed in CAD and 3D-printed to each player's exact specs and preferences. Their products are the pinnacle of the industry, like a hand-made Savile Row suit.

While they occasionally offer some ready-to-play clubs for sale on their website, their core mission will always be making the finest custom golf clubs in the industry. If you're looking for the best golf clubs made specifically for you, look no further than National Custom Works.
