Minjee Lee secured her first victory of 2023 at the LPGA Tour's Queen City Championship after bouncing back from a loosing her five-shot lead. She defeated Charley Hull in a two-hole playoff. This win ends Lee's 15-month winless streak. Along with the $470,000 prize, Lee is now on track to re-enter the top 10 rankings. In the same tournament, Ruoning Yin finished third and is set to become the new world No. 1, making her the second Chinese player to achieve this feat after Shanshan Feng.
