Scottie Scheffler controlled the final round of the Players Championship showing complete class and control over his game. This is his 6th win in the last 27 starts on the PGA tour which puts him back on top of the world rankings and nabs himself a whopping $4.5 million to go with it.

Tyrrell Hatton held the low round for the day with a 65. A relatively tame front 9 with 1 birdie followed straight up by a bogey on the 9th. He really went to work on the back 9 however, carding 7 birdies, 5 of which were in the final stretch scoring 29.

Alex Smalley takes on the terrifying traditional Sunday pin location at the par 3 17th and comes out on top with a hole-in-one. Wade Ormsby is now a 4 time winner on the Asian tour after a playoff win at Thailands Black Mountain Golf Course. The 42 year old Aussie drained a 3.5 meter putt on the first play off hole, defeating Chonlatit Chuenboonngam.

We all know a person that fires up on the course, a real dummy spitter. If none came to mind it’s more then likely you. It’s basically the person for when they hit a questionable shot you can’t afford to take your eyes of them until the club goes safely back in the bad otherwise you could be in danger of an wayward club toss… Just like that one time, I launch an 8 iron 90 degrees to the intended target, it bounced off the cart path snapping in two only narrowly missing the new brother in law because the grip was wet and the ground was muddy and there was something in my eye.…… anyway, sorry just rambling….

Unlike Scottie who seams remarkably unfazed by anything that goes down on the course these pros showed us all that the are in fact human. Have a look and hopefully it makes you feel a little better about loosing 6 balls in 2 holes on the weekend.

No surprise here John Daily makes an appearance here. I think we have all be in a position like this, something about water that pulls the golf ball towards it. I am no stranger to the old hosel rocket, I’m tipping Lake Michigan would be the watery end to a fair few of my balls.

Sergio Garcia green side bunker hissy fit is really quite funny to watch. Most of us would be happy just to get out but obviously his expectations are a lot higher then ours.

Rory McIlory’s club throw into the water at The Cadillac Championship is a thing of beauty. He shows such grace as he whips it across the body straight into the drink.

Thomas Pieters doing what a lot of us would do IF we didn’t have to pay for our own clubs.
