Golf start ups
Golf has always been a sport that attracts entrepreneurs and innovators, and it's no surprise that there are new ventures and businesses popping up in the golfing world all the time. These startups are bringing fresh ideas, technology, and products to the game, and are poised to make a big impact on the golfing community.
One of the most exciting new ventures in the golfing world is the use of technology to improve the game. From golf swing analysis software to virtual reality training programs, technology is making it easier than ever for golfers to improve their skills and enjoy the game even more. Startups like Sparrow Vision and deWiz are leading the way in this field, using cutting-edge technology to help golfers of all skill levels.
Another area where new businesses are making waves in the world of golf is equipment. Startups like Vice Golf and Haitch Golf are taking a fresh approach to designing and manufacturing golf equipment. Creating products that are not only high-quality but also visually striking and delivery them direct to consumers. Which in turn cuts any unnecessary costs saving you and I the end customer’s.

Adam Scott ❤️ Miura
A match made in heaven
Adam Scott, the 2013 Masters champion, is known to be a gearhead with a great appreciation for classic designs. He has been involved in the development of a set of AS-1 Signature irons in partnership with Miura. These irons are a replica of the blades that Scott debuted at the Memorial last season, which drew the attention of golf enthusiasts.
What makes these irons unique is the effort that Scott put in to bring them to life. He traveled to Miura's factory in Himeji, Japan, to meet the founder, Katsuhiro Miura, and see first-hand how his irons were constructed. Instead of merely communicating his needs over the phone, Scott was intimately involved in the design and production of the clubs.
The AS-1 Signature irons feature more offset than many modern blades, which gives them a classic look that closely resembles the irons that Scott grew up playing within Australia. In addition to this, the irons also feature a unique sole design to accommodate the different turfs that Scott deals with over the course of a Tour season.
After testing and refining the initial set in competition, Scott and Miura agreed to release a limited-edition version of the AS-1 Signature irons to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Scott's Masters victory. Each set will come with Miura-San's red hanko stamp, a traditional Japanese seal of approval, and a certificate of authenticity. The clubs will also come in a custom commemorative box design inspired by the distinctive deep blue aprons that the Miura craftsmen wear at the factory.

About
The d.hudson brand is all about the crossover between golf and lifestyle, designed to be worn anywhere. While their signature hats with under-brim designs initially put them on the map, they have since expanded to other gear as well.
Their mission began in San Francisco, where they set out to bridge the gap between the next generation and the traditional world of golf. Believing that in order to grow the game, golf must adapt and appeal to a new audience. That's where d.hudson comes in. “We're doing our part to attract next-gen golfers by offering trendy apparel and engaging with our audience through social media and direct-to-consumer marketing”.
“But we're not just focused on the future - we're also making inroads with traditional golf to bring the two worlds together. We work closely with our partner golf courses to help them understand what next-gen golfers want, both in terms of apparel and beyond. At d.hudson, we believe that by bringing the two worlds together, we can help create a more inclusive and vibrant golf community for everyone”.
