About

Ever since Benzy launch their website back in April this year it was officially time to stand up and take notice. They teased us with content through their socials from early 2022 but it was now time to see what they are all about.

In a very short time Benzy Golf, a premium golf glove and accessories company that has been gaining popularity among golfers in recent times. Benzy a brand that focuses on creating high-quality golf products that combine both fashion and function.

Named after the founder's son, Benz, the company was created out of a deep love and passion for the game of golf and its fashion. One of the key products offered by Benzy Golf is its premium-grade Cabretta leather gloves, which give golfers a buttery soft feel that helps them develop a stronger connection with the club.

This connection is crucial because it helps us as golfers feel more confident in our ability to make a solid pass at every shot. The result is a more consistent and reliable performance for tee to green.

What's more, Benzy Golf's signature circle bird logo represents the common goal of every golfer - to circle those birdies! This logo is prominently featured on all of their products, and serves as a reminder of the ultimate aim of every round of golf.

In short, if you are looking for a high-quality golf product that combines both fashion and function, then Benzy Golf is definitely worth checking out. ⬇️

Missed putts and almost-wins

What a day it was in the world of golf! No matter which tournament you tend to side with, yesterday was a fantastic day for the sport. As an Aussie, I am probably a little biased with how it all played out. Even though it was tough to watch Cam Smith and Minjee Lee come so close to victory only to miss out on nearly $3.5 million in prize money in the span of an hour on Monday.

Cam Smith started the day six shots behind the leader but made a brilliant comeback, equalling the LIV Golf record with a nine-under round to put himself back in contention. On the other hand, Dustin Johnson started the day with the lead but found himself in trouble when he made a triple-bogey on the par-4 10th. However, Johnson's resilience was impressive, and he fought back to birdie the 18th hole two times in a row, once in regulation and the other in the first, three way playoff hole.

Around the same time, Minjee Lee had her own troubles with a birdie putt that would have secured her the LPGA Cognizant Founders Cup. Lee started the final round with a three-stroke lead, but stumbled and ended up being taken to a playoff by Korean Jin Young Ko. In the end, Lee had a chance to win, but her putt was perhaps the worst of the day, sending the ball racing well past the hole. Eventually loosing out to Jin Young Ko.

But, amidst all the missed putts and almost-wins, there was a shining light in the form of Jason Day, who scored his first win in over 5 years at the AT&T Byron Nelson on Mother's Day. Day had lost his own mother in recent times, making the win even more special. He carded a bogey-free nine-under 62, showing that he is in terrific form with five top-10 finishes already in the season. Now, on to the PGA Championship!

That’s a wrap. I’ll catch you bright and early in the morning.
