PGA - Jay Monahan the big boss of the PGA confirmed that 2024 will see a number of designated events with reduced fields and no cuts. Also announced August last year the dramatically increasing the prize money. Taking the total pool to USD$428.6m. Sounds somewhat familiar hey Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter?😉
LIV - We are a few weeks away until the next event in Tucson at the Gallery Golf Club USA. Gives the players a chance to sharpen up their games before battling it out again. Or to jump on twitter and throw a few jabs.
DP World tour - Next stop is the Magical Kenya Open held at Muthaiga GC. A 6,609 meter par 71 course in which Ashun Wu will be hoping to retain his title or can Marcel Siem from Germany continue his form from last round and go back to back wins this year.

The big shift in golf

In recent years, there has been a noticeable shift in the world of golf, and it's all thanks to the younger generation. The sport that was once seen as traditional and stuffy is now experiencing a surge in popularity among a younger players, and they are bringing a fresh style to the game and its f*cking great!

One of the most significant changes is the move away from strict dress codes on the course. Younger players are more interested in having fun and enjoying the game rather than conforming to outdated rules. This has led to a rise in golf apparel companies. Companies that now have the freedom to create more on trend style that in my opinion aren’t really limited to just the course. Go check out our Instagram to see what we mean.

Another way the younger generation is changing the game is by embracing technology. Golf equipment has become more advanced than ever, with features like GPS, shot tracking, and swing analysis. Younger players are not afraid to embrace these tools and use them to their advantage.

Overall, the shift in golf driven by the younger generation is a positive development for the sport. It’s been the main driver in tournaments such as the W.M Phoenix Open (hole 16) to add holes that feel and act more like a party then a golf tournament. This brings in new players that otherwise would never of considered playing or even watching the game. About: Palm Golf Co. began with four buddies having a standing weekly tee time at a local muni course. In between numerous three-putts, duffed chips, and beers we talked about ideas and visions on how to improve the game of golf. Since none of us possess the ability to actually make anybody a better golfer, we decided it was our job to make a high quality product, easy to obtain, and look a hell of a lot cooler. There's one thing that almost all golfers use regardless of what club they are swinging - the glove. We also know that there are even some of you weirdos out there who putt with a glove, so you need us even more than the rest.
