About

Hey there, golfers we are back for another brand spotlight and this one is for the girls. The ones that are looking to add a touch of flair and cheer to their game. Lets dive into Millie Rose Designs, founded by the talented Jennifer Malzacher in sunny Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Ponte Vedra Beach is not your ordinary seaside town. It's a golf and tennis mecca, home to the ATP Tour and the PGA Tour. And let's not forget the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass! So, it's no surprise that Jennifer, a mother of two young boy golfers and a passionate tennis player herself, saw the need for a little pick-me-up in the world of golf, tennis, and even pickleball towels and accessories.

Jennifer's mission was clear: create products that are not only useful and functional but also unique and fun. And did she deliver. Imagine wrapping your hands around the softest, most delicate towel your fingers have ever touched. That's what Millie Rose towels are all about. Crafted with the highest quality microfiber on the front and a 100% cotton white backside, these towels are game-changers. They effortlessly clean clubs, wipe away dirt and sweat, and even help you out during a sudden rain shower.

Millie Rose is expanding its empire by introducing Tennis, Golf & Pickleball Skirts. Made with a comfortable blend of polyester and spandex, these athletic skirts are delicately crafted to flatter any body style. Jennifer personally designs each skirt, ensuring that you look and feel your best while playing your favorite sport. Plus, they come with soft shorts underneath, so no more awkward readjustments mid-game.

Curious about the name "Millie Rose"? Well, it's a tribute to Jennifer and Joe's dream of having a daughter. With their two amazing boys, Carson and Andrew, always in mind, the couple fell in love with the names Millie and Rose. And when Jennifer decided to bring her vision to life, "Millie Rose" just seemed like the perfect fit!

  • Not with Trump: The R&A, the governing body for the Open Championship, has stated that the Trump Turnberry golf resort in Scotland will not be considered as a host for the tournament due to security risks associated with its affiliation with former President Donald Trump. Despite Trump's claim that "everybody wants to see the Open Championship" at Turnberry, organisers have made alternative plans. The course has previously hosted the Open Championship four times but has not been selected since Trump's organisation acquired it in 2014. Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump organisation, expressed his family's commitment to the Open Championship and preserving Turnberry's status as a top golf course. While Trump's properties have held PGA Tour and LPGA events, they have not hosted any of the four men's major golf tournaments. Trump's courses have been utilised by the LIV Golf league, but Trump denied any connection to favorable policies enacted while in office, stating that the courses were chosen simply because they are the best.

  • Twitter showdown: Phil Mickelson took a dig at Rory McIlroy, suggesting that LIV Golf would be a good fit for him but doubted any team would want him due to his "bullshit." The comment came after McIlroy expressed his desire for an off-season to work on his golf swing. The Twitter exchange between Mickelson and McIlroy escalated after Mickelson praised LIV Golf's format for preparing players for major tournaments. McIlroy criticised Mickelson's argument, stating that players have the choice to participate in a certain number of events. The two golfers have had previous disagreements, including an incident captured in a Netflix docuseries. While the specific nature of the "bullshit" mentioned by Mickelson remains unclear, it seems unlikely that McIlroy will join LIV Golf, considering his strong support for the traditional PGA Tour and his opposition to the Saudi-backed tour.

  • Young gun: Rose Zhang, a highly touted women's golfer, has defied expectations in her professional debut at the LPGA's Mizuho Americas Open. Despite doubts at various moments during the tournament, she has displayed remarkable skill and composure. With consistent ball-striking and steady putting, Zhang currently holds a two-shot lead heading into the final round. While the pressure and competition remain, Zhang's impressive track record in amateur golf, including multiple NCAA Division I individual titles and a victory at the Augusta National Women's Amateur, suggests that she has the potential to continue her success.

  • 3 Way tie: Rory McIlroy shares the lead in the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday after shooting a 2-under 70 in the third round. Hideki Matsuyama and Patrick Cantlay, who were leading earlier, had struggles that dropped them down the leaderboard. With thirteen players separated by two shots and nine more within three shots of the lead, the final round promises an opportunity for many contenders. Despite encountering some challenges on the course, McIlroy managed to score well and set a goal of breaking 70 for the day. Keegan Bradley made a significant move with a round of 65, putting him just two shots behind the leaders. The tournament remains open and unpredictable heading into the final round.
