We have a story to share with you that's all about passion, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of perfection on the green. Meet Kari Lajosi, the man behind the incredible world of Lajosi putters.

Kari's journey began with a simple desire to create something uniquely his own. He crafted his very first putter for himself, driven by the idea that using a putter that perfectly fit his stroke would give him the confidence he needed. Little did he know that this would be the start of something extraordinary.

With a background as a toolmaker and years of experience in metalworking, Kari honed his skills and developed a deep passion for creating instruments that seamlessly blended functionality and beauty. As an avid golfer himself, Kari's interest in putters grew into an obsession in 2000. The first putters he made were admittedly basic, but his weekly playing partners and friends quickly took notice and started requesting putters of their own.

Fuelled by the demand and his unwavering enjoyment of the craft, Kari embarked on a journey of puttermaking, initially catering to a small circle of golf enthusiasts. However, word began to spread organically, and soon enough, Lajosi putters were being shipped to golfers all over the world. Yet, even with this global presence, Lajosi's commitment to bespoke and custom craftsmanship remained unchanged. The true essence of Lajosi lies in the unique experience it offers golfers, allowing them to tailor their putters to their own specifications.

Lajosi's growth was not driven by mass marketing but by the genuine passion of those who experienced the performance and artistry of the putters firsthand. They take great pride in the fact that the performance of their putters is the centrepiece of the brand.

While Kari still personally oversees most of the putter making process, the expanding Lajosi community has necessitated a little more assistance. But rest assured, the same dedication to quality and customisation remains at the core of everything they do.
