Club 58

Standing over a 40-foot putt at the 18th hole, he knew a two-putt would break 60, but he had just one thought: "Don't give myself a 3-footer." With nerves of steel, he sunk the birdie putt and secured the lowest round in LIV Golf's history, an incredible 12-under 58. This victory not only marked his first LIV Golf individual win but also became the "greatest moment" of his career, which already boasts 11 professional wins, including a major.

The day before, DeChambeau shot a 61, tying the previous LIV-record low, but he showed no signs of slowing down. Despite a bogey at the par-3 eighth, he continued to dominate the course with birdies on six of his first seven holes. Mito Pereira of Torque GC provided some pressure with his own hot start, but DeChambeau remained relentless, finishing the day at 23 under, six strokes ahead of Pereira.

In the team competition, Torque GC, led by Pereira, David Puig, and captain Joaquin Niemann, shined with an impressive performance, reaching 50 under before settling at 49 under to secure victory by three strokes over DeChambeau's Crushers GC. The win places Torque within seven points of league-leading 4Aces GC in the team standings.

DeChambeau's historic achievement has left him speechless, and while he's uncertain how to celebrate, one thing's for sure: he's going to have a lot of fun!
