Dimi Papadatos nearly started his Korn Ferry Tour career with a win at the Astara Chile Classic. The Aussie had a hot start to the final round, but a bogey and some nail-biting moments on the course made for a dramatic playoff finish.

Despite the runner-up finish, Papadatos walked away with a $US90,000 cheque, which should soften the blow. And with more Korn Ferry Tour events on the horizon, it looks like we'll be seeing more of him as he tries to secure a place in the top-25 on the money list and with a PGA Tour card for next season.
