About
Sunday Golf, founded by the dynamic duo Ronan Galvin and Casey Mathews in 2020, is all about shaking up the golf world and injecting fun back into the game. Their Loma bag was a true game-changer, redefining the golf bag with its sleek design, lightweight feel, and room for 6 to 8 clubs. It's like a breath of fresh air for weekend golf warriors, embracing casual vibes and making play with fewer clubs a blast.
These bags are not just any bags; they're designed to take your golfing experience to a whole new level. They get that golf is your escape, a stress-free getaway from the daily grind. Imagine teeing off with friends on a sunny weekend, the course all to yourselves, and a couple of cold ones to top it off. That's the Sunday Golf way!
So, what's the magic behind these Sunday bags? For starters, they encourage you to carry less but enjoy more. Simplify your selection, choose the clubs you need, and ditch the ones you rarely use. You'll never walk back to your car with regrets again!
If you're a range enthusiast, these bags are a must-have for practice sessions. Just grab your chosen clubs, slip them into the Sunday bag, and head to the driving range or the chipping and putting area. It's the ultimate convenience wrapped up in style and functionality.
Why we like Sunday Golf bags:
Lightweight and easy to carry: This one comes as no surprise. Weighing in at at just under 1 kilogram, you can easily hit the course on foot and not fall victim to fatigue. The perfectly placed handle on some of their variants makes one handed movements around the greens a breeze.
Carry Less, Enjoy More: These bags are all about good vibes. Take the stress out of club choice by narrowing the selection and backing yourself in.
Options: I’ve highlight the minimalist design of the Sunday Golf bag and how much I love it. However, if you prefer a more conventional style, they have you covered there too with the 4 way top divider, 14 club Ryder bag.
Our pick:
Loma XL - Seafoam
This is an easy one. I recently purchased their Loma XL in the Seafoam colour variant. I am about four rounds in, but it does exactly what it says on the box. Super lightweight, extremely easy to carry around and super convenient especially if you're looking for a range session or a quick nine after work.
My two cents:
If you're worried about the size and not being able to carry your full set with you, I challenge you to stop and think about all the rounds you've played where you had to use every club in the bag. I bet it's not many, if any. And even if you do find yourself between clubs, it's not the end of the world to learn how to flight the ball and work it in a different way to get the desired result.

The short par 4’s
What’s in the bag: Take a look into Christo Lamprecht, the 6-foot-8 South African golfer bag. The big guy impressed with a 66 at Royal Liverpool in his first major round at The Open Championship.
Opening day frustrations: Jon Rahm expressed frustration with cameramen for the third consecutive major tournament. Despite the challenges, Rahm's emotions on display have often led to his best golf.
Greens staff under the pump: The R&A made adjustments to make the sand more concave, allowing balls to roll into playable positions within the traps, easing the severity of the penalty. Bunkers remain a key challenge at Hoylake, and players must avoid them at all costs if they are to be successful.
Prize money payout: Even though its not the most lucrative championship, lifting the Claret Jug is a dream for many players. The R&A has increased the purse to $16.5 million, making it the smallest of the four majors. The historic venue has seen iconic winners, and this year's tournament promises fierce competition for the prestigious title.
Course record: Brian Harman, tied the course record with a second-round 65 at the 151st Open Championship. He took a five-stroke lead, sitting at 10 under par, after pouring in an eagle on the 18th hole. Harman's exceptional putting skills, making more than 264 feet of putts in two days, have been the key to his success so far. He has never held the 36-hole lead alone in a major, but that is likely to change as he heads into the weekend at Hoylake.
