Ladies golf attire is going on an absolute tear. So many amazing companies putting out extraordinary products. One that keeps crossing my path is Par Social. If you haven’t yet heard of them, sit back and enjoy.

Guys, if there’s a lucky lady in your life or girls if you’re ready to infuse your everyday activewear with vibrant colours, feminine details, and intricate cutouts? Look no further than Par Social, a performance collection that seamlessly blends fashion and function. Inspired by dreamy warm weather destinations, Par Social's founder and CEO, Erin Mersinger, has created a line that reflects her love for sports and her desire for fashion-forward options.

With an extensive background in luxury fashion and experience working with some of the most well-known brands in the world, Erin Mersinger understands the importance of merging style and performance. As a mother of two daughters who share her passion for sports, she recognised the need for activewear that could transition effortlessly from day to night. This realisation led her to create Par Social, a brand that celebrates the fun, social, and aspirational aspects of sports.

Par Social's mission goes beyond creating stylish activewear. As a woman-founded and led organisation, they are dedicated to empowering girls and women. They actively partner with organisations that share their mission, offering scholarships, leadership, and development opportunities to promote female empowerment.

When it comes to the environment, Par Social is committed to ethical production practices and reducing their carbon footprint. They work with a network of worldwide artisans who dedicate their skills to crafting each piece. Their fabrics are sourced from Italy and are labeled STANDARD 100 OEKO-TEX®, ensuring they are rigorously tested for harmful substances and meet the highest level of customer safety. The primary fabric mill they collaborate with holds the "Green Company" designation and takes proactive steps to reduce environmental impact in areas such as electricity, water usage, air emissions, and waste management.

To further minimise waste and water usage, Erin and the Par Social team produce their collections in small batches. This approach not only reduces their environmental footprint but also ensures that each garment maintains its uniqueness. They are committed to using recycled paper for their collateral and biodegradable mailers that can be reused.

Development of the Par Social collection is managed in Milan, where their production team brings over 20 years of experience working with esteemed brands such as Tom Ford, Zegna, and Chanel. With their expertise and dedication to quality standards, Par Social ensures that every piece meets the highest expectations.

The production of Par Social's collection takes place in Tunisia, a Mediterranean country known for its vibrant colours, rich history, and resort-like atmosphere. Each garment is meticulously sewn with the spirit of the brand in mind, reflecting the beauty and craftsmanship of the city and its talented artisans.

Par Social is not just activewear; it's a lifestyle. It's about embracing sports, feeling confident, and effortlessly transitioning from your favorite activities to social outings. With their commitment to style, performance, and empowering women, Par Social is redefining what activewear can be.

The short par 4

  • The newest major champion in golf: Running Yin the 20-year-old from Shanghai, China, sealed her victory with a clutch 10-foot putt on the 18th green of Baltusrol's Lower course. This win marks Yin's second LPGA victory and makes her the second major champion from China. The pressure was on in the final round, with 11 players vying for the title. Despite the intense competition, Yin stayed composed and executed her game plan flawlessly. Her birdie on the last hole crowned her as golf's newest major champion. This triumph showcases the importance of performing under extreme pressure in order to win the biggest and toughest events in golf. Yin's remarkable skills and unwavering confidence make her a rising star in the LPGA.

  • $3.6 Million Dollars: Keegan Bradley bounced back from missing the cut at the U.S. Open by winning the Travelers Championship and pocketing $3.6 million. Despite a few late bogeys, he maintained a three-stroke lead to secure the victory. Brian Harman and Zac Blair finished as runners-up, with Blair achieving a career-best finish. Blair's performance also helped him fulfill his Major Medical Extension requirements on the PGA TOUR. Scottie Scheffler, the tournament favourite, finished tied for fourth, while defending champion Xander Schauffele placed 19th. U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark ended up in 29th place at the event.

  • Thriston Lawrence claimed his second win of the season: at the BMW International Open in Germany. He started the final day four shots behind Joost Luiten but managed to catch up by the turn. Although Lawrence had a couple of setbacks with three-putts on the 12th and 13th holes, he made a crucial birdie on the 17th while Luiten three-putted, allowing Lawrence to take the lead. Lawrence finished with a par on the last hole to secure a victory at 13 under. Luiten finished one shot ahead of Daniel Hillier, Rikuya Hoshino, Maximilian Kieffer, and Adrian Meronk. Lawrence, who became emotional after the win, expressed his gratitude and mentioned the significance of joining the ranks of South African golf legend Ernie Els, who had previously won the same trophy. Lawrence showcased excellent putting skills throughout the day, including a 46-foot putt on the second hole and a 36-foot left-to-right putt on the 15th. Despite a roller coaster of ups and downs, Lawrence ultimately emerged as the champion.

  • Seven under back nine to win: Padraig Harrington successfully defended his title at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open with a remarkable performance in the final round. Starting the back-nine, Harrington unleashed a brilliant display of golf, recording birdies on holes 12, 13, 14, and 15, followed by an eagle on the 16th and another birdie on the 17th. These incredible shots propelled him to an 18-under finish, securing a one-stroke victory over Joe Durant. Harrington acknowledged his early struggles but credited a great up-and-down on the 11th hole for changing his momentum. The final round saw many players score well, but the second-round leaders, including Ernie Els, couldn't keep pace. Harrington's win marked his first of 2023 and made him the first player to successfully defend the title at En-Joie Golf Club. Looking ahead, Harrington aims to continue his winning streak at the U.S. Senior Open.
